I get my DEF at Loves. It's the cheapest. About $30 to fill it.

Well. Hit the road today. Bobtailed up to Gordonsville Va grabbed an empty and shot on over to the Lee Hi in Lexington. I pick up nearby and will shoot over to Dallas. Don't have to be there till Tuesday but sitting around for 4 days has given me the urge to run hard this weekend.

Oh and if I decide to keep this truck the first thing I am doing when I own it is take out this #### on guard. Then I'll run it over a thousand times....piss on it....then run it over another thousand times.

that last light will turn yellow when its really close, then red. soemtimes I refill at half way about every three or four weeks. then other times its weekly. depends on the quality of fuel you are able to get where ever you get it.

Some real world numbers from my spreadsheet between a Volvo 670 and a kw 680 show an averaged consumption in DEF to be 241 mpg at an averaged cost of .01/mile.

Yours will vary of course but the avg between makes on my usage is pretty close.

Try not to let it get under 1/2 tank. All I've driven are these emissions riddled trucks and they seem to have more problems if you let the DEF level get low.

my experience is idling is number one killer of emissions
my dashboard says in 17450 gal only 74.7 were idling
and if my boss didn't have a battery nite system there would be 5 gal of idling
he says when the batteries kill the ac it is time to drive...........sigh

I do have a battery powered APU to help with the idling. Heck I hardly idled in the other truck except in harsh winter conditions.

Choice drivers....does our fuel discount apply to DEF when we get it at the pump?
