No, a reset does not fix any files. If you do an R/D you will be comparing against downloaded files on your computer, so if corrupted there you will not see the fix.

You have to delete a hidden folder and then update again to get a new download from the Dock of the files.

    Thanks,
    Mark

The morning sun shining through all four sides of my day cab reflects like crazy on the glossy screen of the Tablet. A little top shade would not help this. No shade would because the screen reflects from all angles. I was wondering if a matte finish would help? do they sell that and would it still work as a touch screen? Or do I just have to put curtains up. LOL

That curly cue wire on the screen is the reflection of the cord from my phone while I'm taking this picture. I really can't read the map like this.

PS and you can see the crease I made while installing the screen protector

Is dock compatible with Win-10 ?
Just upgraded my pc to Win-10 plugged in TND-720 and it showed map update avail also reg update avail. Did map first then reg but dock keeps saying still map update avail so did it again twice now. It still says map update avail so did diag&repair and found lots of files and repaired them. I then unplugged from pc and turned unit on and now get Navi exe error. So am thinking to remove dock from pc and re-download it also maybe format sd card and do the whole update thing again.
    Any thoughts on this???

    Thanks
    John

I feel like I'm going in circles. I'm right back where I started two weeks ago. I'm trying transfer the map update, three times I've been given "file transfer failed". I've formatted the SDHC card, 8GB, class 10. Anti virus is disabled, I inserted and removed the card several times. Currently, the transfer seems to be hung up on file 19 of 52. As always, any help is appreciated.

    Thank you.

Yes it is. I use the Dock on mine and I upgraded to Win 10.

Make sure the SD Card is formatted to FAT 32.

You should have done the Map update and then the regular update, once done disconnect from the computer and let it boot up.

I should have time later this afternoon to remote in if you still need help.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Formatted the SD Card to FAT 32?

You are on a High Speed Internet Connection and not Wi-Fi?

    Thanks,

Yes, formatted FAT32, at home on a wired high speed connection. It looks like the map update downloads fine. Its when I start the file transfer is where I'm having issues.

File transfer to the computer or is it trying to push from the Computer to the TND?

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Thanks,
Trailer sizes in 28',32'.36' or 42' would be helpful.
Any luck on the freezes and error messages yet?
