I too stop at Walmart to resupply my pantry. Like others have stated it's not that bad to shop there. However, I always enter the parking lot by way of the truck entrance. Nearly all Walmart's have one for their own deliveries. So I pull in there like I'm delivering, park out of the way, and no one knows the difference.

As a OTR driver, you will want to ensure a healthy bowel movement. Truckstop buffet's and pilot hotdogs will ensure you're in the restroom in less than 24 hours, guaranteed

Walmart carefully keeps track of all OTR drivers and will have the greeter bounce you from a store if he can catch you with his walker if you attempt to purchase produce more than once a week at any of their locations.

Seriously, as often as you can get to a Walmart would be the answer. No one can tell you how often that would be.

Yes, you can buy fresh foods off all kinds as a truck driver. As you start to run, you learn what places you can park at when you shop. I know of many Walmarts I can park, go in and get what I want. I almost never take a full break in a Walmart parking lot, just other better places, like a proper truck stop to go.

Gents, if you aren't familiar with the AllStays series of Apps, I recommend a quick look.

I live and die by the Walmart Overnight parking App. Best thing since sliced bread.

My Volvo 780 is my fun recreational hauler and we do just peachy at Walmart stores that are OK in the app.

    Search AllStays Walmart.

I stayed at vermillion sd last night at the walmart. Much better than any truck stop in the area. Better food choices.
