What a freaky bunch... I figured we'd all be into chains, straps and exhibitionism... Hey, different strokes for different folks

I shoulda known... Dogs go after anything. They'd hump a cactus if you let them.

Well, I waved at you as I passed by. But if you weren't there by the time I posted then I suppose it was a wasted wave.

They already have too much time on their hands. What is more time going to accomplish...?

True in the way you intended, and yet so true in other ways as well.

Different strokes for different folks right?

    Anyways...I'll cool it.

Pulled into the peelot off i20 exit 19 with 8 minutes on my 14. Would've made it back to the yard, but my last store took nearly 2.5 hours to unload.

Seems I've become a Schneider magnet too... I pulled in here, parked and set myself off duty. When I looked up, 5 Schneider trucks pulled in. One is sitting beside me.

Glad I made it this far though, tomorrow I'm headed out to Experiment, Al. It's also a liftgate store. So that should shake things up a bit.

Re-thinking my stance on if newbies should take dedicated accounts. At the least, dedicated accounts do get far more backing practice.

I used to work for a road contractor out of Elgin, IL. You can see them from I-90 in between the exit for rt 25 and Beverly rd. Plote. They would mess with the senior guys (union company) by giving some of the new hires the new trucks. Them guys looked like snakes, trying to back up.

TA....lake station fer a quick splash of cheap reefer fuel&I have figured out the Fuel Island issue....There are SIX CR England driving skool trucks here at the fuel island....and they're ALL INSIDE eatin Popeyes.....So I say to the Dbag w/the most official lookin swag on."You in charge of this circus? What...."you the boss of this England bunch?" Well I'm one of the instructors" Why are you interested in driving a 18 Wheel err?" Nope I'm just wondering if blockin 1/2 the fuel islands to use as parking spaces in a truckstop with probably 250 EMPTY spaces&Backin up traffic Is part of the curriculum...or did you figure this out all on your own? Before he could reply I looked at the rest of the parolees(&that's bein kind)and said while I pointed (I've been told people understand better w/visual confirmation)See where you are parked? That is where you fuel your truck. See all that mt blacktop...with the Yellow lines painted. That is a PARKING LOT....THAT is where YOU take ur truck as soon as you finish fueling....so you DONT make 100+other drivers who NEED to fuel&get right back to work...sit in the road...while you sit in here&feed your face....Yall understand now...(quite a few yes sirs...and blank stares)
Well then gentlemen todays lesson is complete....nowgo practice what you learned and MOVE YOUR TRUX....JEEEZE

Finally got a load. It's going to Boston, MA. Gonna deliver at the Ceva terminal which is at the harbor. Always delivered there late at night so couldn't get any good pics. Finally get my chance. Will be there around 5am and with no pre-plan so should have time to get some good pics. If we have time, some of that food Boston is famous for.

    yippee ki yay mother####er [IMG]

@'olhand, did they go out there and move after you gave them that tongue lashing ? Or did they tell you "We're CR England. We gotta eat if we want them wheels a rollin and them reefers towing" then they busted out in this dance:

@sshewins, how did you like working for Plote ? Live only a few miles from them. They seem to be the state of Illinois go to company for road repair.
