That isn't against any rules. EOE only applies for things that overpaid former lawyers say it applies for. The distance one lives from a terminal or drop yard is not one of them.

There are probably various reasons for it but the bottom line is they do not have to hire you out of area if they don’t want to so there is little point in trying to figure out what any one companies reasons are for defining their hiring area are on here.MJ1657 Thanks this. -

Just a hypothetical here, but I wonder if they would refuse to hire a shop mechanic or dispatcher based on their address?. I have never had a job, truck driving or otherwise, where the employer needed to know how far away I lived from their facility so maybe that is why I am having a hard time accepting it. -
