Why do Mexican-American's keep saying we need to give California "back to them/Mexico?"
Did you know that...
- In 1540's Spain visited California and "claimed" it.
- Forty years later in 1580 England visited and "claimed" it.
- Twenty years later, in 1600 Spain came back and "reclaimed" California for the next 200 years.
- In 1822 California became a province of Mexico.
- ......American's began moving west and settling California......
- In 1848 California became part of the United States of America.
(and during those 26 years there were more American's in the state than Mexican's...........)
Again.............

That is a very scary thought......... since, as a culture, they do not take care of their environment.... natural or man-made........ have you been there?
The businesses, cities, homes, streets, schools........ they are nasty, dirty, dilapitated, unkept....... no pride whatsoever....... use and abuse and move on.......
As for nature....... I sometimes wonder if we couldn't ship a few of those fanatical tree-huggers from California down to Mexico..... I would think that the way they treat their natural environment would make us look like saints! If nothing else, it would keep those do gooders busy for the rest of their lives! ....LOL.....
(Btw.... I am all for environmental protection..... but not at the expense of human protection)Muleskinner Thanks this. -
Yea I luved hauling in the Texas Vally Get there in the evening couldnt unload till the next day. My Truck that is.
