When i first started with JCT the fuel surcharge was 43cpm. -
Also don't think I'm gonna do much helping out for a while. Helped out one of the load planners last week and through all the bs all I got was 2000 miles in a high fuel price and mountain area. Paycheck is only gnna be 350.
-
One good thing is this week that I turn in is gonna be 3500 miles
Aminal Thanks this. -
If your paycheck is only going to be 350 on 3500 miles, that ain't good. Or is that 3500 miles for next week's check.
Only time I have that low of a check is coming off of home time or for some reason only got one load turned in. -
No my paycheck for this week only has 2000 miles on it and after cost of fuel and so on its gonna be about 350. Next week's paycheck will have about 3500 miles on it
MachoCyclone Thanks this. -
I helped out the northwest planner and she screwed me over. Low miles not a lot of time to get there. Part of it was just the timing of the loads on pick up and delivery but still I didn't like how she was running me. Had to run balls to the wall to meet a driver for a swap.
-
So I was one of the lucky people stuck on I35 for like 6 hours on Monday trying to get down to Laredo. Now heading to calavo in Cali, tho someone just called asking if I could swap with a driver in toelleson so they could get home.
-
Do they always give you 7 days to do 2500 miles here?
-
See this is what I was saying a while back. Fuel surcharge was intended to offset the cost of rising fuel costs, not necessarily for raising profit. Trucks with better fuel milage saw a rise in profits. Problem is, with profits up the actual rate never went up with other expenses. Now you are paying the price for not updating your rates. Need to get those rates up!
Aminal Thanks this.
