If you can't read the road sings you should not be driving on that road!!
I don't care where you are or what you speaks.
That right if you Can Not READ you Should Not DRIVE!
For Safety
and so you don't get lost -
si... I mean yes It should go both ways, If your going into Mexico and cant understand or read spanish... Please do not enter.
If your going to the U.S. and do not understand english, they should no enter the U.S. -
nicely said thank you -
ok i am wondering something here. i am fluent in several diferent languages with spanish being one and i have a residency in argentina , so am i a so called mexican driver. americans dont come to argentina and face the same ridicule as we do here. just seems wrong to me in the double standard. kind of like do as we say not as we do. i am not trying to start anything but it just seems wrong. and just so you know mexicans for the most part speak a slang type of spanish. kind of lazy on the tongue as we like to call it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I highly doubt Argentina has the immigration issues that the U.S. currently has.
Actually, foreign countries require that you are able to read their roadsigns in order to be licensed to drive in that country. Prior to obtaining my European license, I was required to identify roadsigns and their meanings. -
True, but when you are a trucker, either US, Canadian or Mexican, you will cross lines. There is currently no law requiring one to speak and read the French signs in Quebec when from US. It does help to use common sense though.

that is an opinion i think you should keep to yourself. i dont go running around saying all gringos should leave when they come to my country. i personally took offence to your commentLast edited by a moderator: Jul 5, 2008

no Biker we dont have that problem as tourism is a big business there. its pretty easy to go and come as you want to unless you go into paraguay without getting stamped then try to get back into argentina then it is a bit of a hassle. -
