Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

The issue i am having is there is 0 air pressure to truck and will not build air at all. Brakes will not release.

Truck will move if slack adjusters are opened wide.

I am not sure if the issue is related to DPF (diesel particulate filter) but truck will not do a parked regen since there is no air pressure and shuts down after a few minutes.

Scangauge shows a boost reading of 17 at 1500 rpm and displays an error code 'Id 3719 fm 00 cnt 34'.
(upon researching i come to find this code indicates soot level high)

Truck on board diagnostic shows code. eng high 128s 155 00.
(google shows that this relates to DPF)

Thanks in advance and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Need to know if DPF issue will cause Air build up loss or vice versa.

No major air leaks? Check the governor and unloader piston/valve. They could be sticking.

Do you know if your compressor is pumping air. You can check by pulling the cable to release your air from tank or disconnect your line from air compressor to air tank. Follow your lines and at each junction in your air system. Open it and check for pressure. When you get to the connection that does not have pressure is where your problem is.
I don't know anything about DPF. Good luck

DPF needs baked when it starts throwing that code. As for the air puressure the dpf has no control over there. Sounds like a bad air dryer or the compressor head needs cleaned/rebuilt.

steps to do a parked regen involves applying and releasing parking brakes, if there is 0 air build up would you think that this will affect parked regen, Thanks

My mechanic said they charge $300 to remove DPF and says he has a guy come in to clean them for another $300, does this sound reasonable
