It has been two years since I was discharged from my former employer for driving while fatigued and failure to maintain lane of travel. My most recent mvr doesn't show any of my backing accidents anymore and I have zero points as a driver according to my local California DMV .

I would like to get back into truck driving again after spending two years away for my mistake and have learned from it.

So my question is should I wait one more year before trying again ?

    Try Swift or Werner.

Do you have experience with both of them?

Couple of the worst companies out there.

After over 11 years off the road, I am getting ready to start with Swift.

I'm not sure why someone would want to subject themselves to the torture of those big mega screw companies but to each their own I guess.

I tried much better companies and kept getting declined. Sometimes a guy just has to pay some dues to get in or back in. I'll do what I have to do.

You will be new all over again to most big companies, not to mention rusty. Try the small companies, mom&pop types.
