I've seen two Swift trucks do some serious damage while doing U-turns. Saw one take out about 50 yards of chain link fence and another made a 4 door sedan look like a convertible. Both incidents at customers and both incidents I was the only witness, which was lucky for the Swift drivers because "I SEE NOTHING!"
Anyway, plenty of jobs available for you. Where is your location?

i would have not only dropped a dime on the 2 morons, i would have taken pics and been a very reliable witness to the accidents.
shame on you for basically turning a blind eye to a couple of drivers that needed to be fired or accounted for thier actions.
so to, what you are saying is that Swift's insurance should NOT have to pay for the damages they created/caused..???
i had "some respect" for you before, now i don't know.double yellow and CanadianVaquero Thank this. -
Are you serious?!
What kind of advice do you call that? It sure isn't good.
That's like tellin' a Big truck truck driver goin' downhill too fast to let off the brakes and put 'er in neutral.
WBound_I-10: If you decide you might want to take Shaggy's advice I suggest you do some very careful research here and elsewhere as to what you can expect from that company. CR England's reputation is somewhat less than stellar.
At least, make an informed decision.
Another decision that you could make is to hang up your driving gloves. Big truck truckin' ain't for everyone.
No shame in that.
It's a shame when a person doesn't realize it, ... before it's too late. I'm not sayin' that's the case with you, just sumthin' to consider.
Whatever you decide, I wish you the best.MACK E-6 Thanks this. -
Calling CRE's rep "less than stellar" is giving them much undeserved compliment.
CanadianVaquero, dog-c and AfterShock Thank this. -
i know i would have told the o/p to try Western Express...AfterShock Thanks this. -
WoW
I wish I hadn't seen that.G.Anthony Thanks this. -
If the incidents don't show up on your DAC and / or CSA, then you shouldn't have much of an issue getting hired on somewhere else. I worked for Swift twice (two divisions but almost 18 months apart) and though I never had any accidents or incidents with them, only my employment with them the first time was listed on my DAC....and that's the only thing that's listed on it.
Also, if you have some driving experience, you might want to look at smaller companies that run locally or regionally since most small outfits don't normally use or check your DAC record or anything like that, so you may have a better chance getting back into the seat that way. I last worked for Swift about 6 years ago and I've been doing local work since then with much better pay, almost new trucks, and home at night and on the weekends. Neither of the companies I worked for in the last 6 years gave two ####s about DAC or anything like that, they were only interested in my MVD (New Mexico calls it the "Motor Vehicle Division") record and how well I could actually handle the truck. -
Swift reports to DAC. Especially if there were damages.
