I was just stating that Quality changed to a $1 buyout on all their trucks... Not sure why you assume I haven't been reading through this thread or the dozens of others. My husband and I personally know two people who are leased on with Eagle. One is doing great, the other is failing. We are not leased on with anyone at this point in time.

    WHY?? WHY?? WHY!!!!!

3 months with TWO checks?? WHY IS HE STILL THERE??!! I see it now, another "the company bankrupted me" thread in the future of TTR.

He needs to GET OUT. Get ANY kind of job to get an income. Leasing is hard, its harder when you're stupid.

I agree 100% with you, Keith! There is no way we would ever stay with a company if we weren't making money! That's insane! And it's a walkaway lease, so nothing keeping them from turning the truck in and going back to being a company driver...

Why are so many people failing at eagle, when they give you the freedom to run your business as you please? I just don't get it....

Not understanding how to negotiate with a broker. Eagle OM's hooking people up with loads that pay the truck under a buck a mile. Grossly inflated truck and trailer payments.

And just one more observation from what I've seen on the road....

WHY are there so many Eagle Dry Vans in NEW MEXICO? I counted 9 last time I came out of Roswell. The Southwest is horrible for dry freight.

Eagle should be honest to these guys sound like alot of guys are getting into something over there head. Because alot of these guys have no concept of running a truck independently.
