I don't have the tools, maybe have to make some from the gauges available at Harbor Freight.

Again, look at my previous post regarding testing the vpod. It does not cost a thing to test, but 10 minutes of your time.

go to Diagnostics menu--ecm I/o configuration-find pwm #4 right click, enter 0-to 99 at bottom for duty cycle, click activate. engine must be turned off, ignition on

how to verify turbo is adjusted properly.
    1. connect dddl, open diagnostics instrumentation's egr window.
    2. start the engine and idle. the boost pressure must be 0.0-0.5 psi / 0-3 kpa
    3. turn off and start again the engine. with cruise raise up to 1000 rpm. boost pressure must be 2.5-3.1 psi /17-20 kpa.
all measurement must be done within 15-20 seconds after engine is started. that time egr valve is closed.

The problem is the fuel pressure. I picked a oil pressure gauge from Harbor Freight (0-140 psi). One of the adapters is the exact size of the Fuel temp sensor hole. Started the engine, at 600 rpm, I have - 12 psi at 1500 rpm - 17 psi.

Tomorrow I will change the check/regulator valve on the return fuel line ($244). The fuel pump was replaced 3-4 months ago, practically new.

    What else could be wrong???

fuel pump or check/pressure regulator valve. nothing else if you don't have bubbles in davco housing.

When I changed the fuel filter, I have to drain the fuel that is in the Davco housing and inspect/clean the bottom of it. Then I put the new filter on with the new O-rings, filled with clean diesel to the top and start the engine. In the beginning, there were some bubbles, but after 3-4 minutes - disappeared. I assume this is normal, because when I opened the Davco housing, there was some air present to the system.
