LOL why are people arguing over free speech on a privately-owned internet forum. The people in charge here can censor whatever they want. Just like when they deleted Jar-Head's recruiting posts, or if I were to come on here and post a bunch of porn or cuss someone out using every word under the sun. This seems to be a pretty relaxed forum when it comes to allowing users to debate/argue as long as it doesn't resort to insulting other members or gets way out of hand.

Hopefully this small corner of the forum doesn't get out of hand like so many of the other sections have. Used to be a pretty positive place without too much arguing going on, seems to be the opposite now.

I am so happy that I saw this topic. Was getting ready to pull the trigger and leave good old Swift. Happy that did not now. You can pick on Swift all that you want, but at least when requested to do a trailer move or shuttle we are paid for it and always take one home with me, no matter whether I am at home in Ohio, 30 miles from the terminal or home in Phoenix, 10 miles from the terminal. And if asked to do a trailer reposition, I am paid loaded miles. Since most of you are on the Choice board and being %, I can see how this would affect. Wonder about your drivers that are paid by the mile still. Two examples about us being paid by the loaded mile, was asked to move a trailer 350 miles, sweet, all loaded pay and that was back when the FSC was up there, and once asked to BT from St. Louis to Wabash, IN to pick up a new trailer and spot it 3 miles around the corner. All paid loaded miles. So I guess that I can say, at least here I am paid for pretty much all that I do.

they don't have the mileage owner operator program anymore which was called legacy... Everything is choice now... Now there might be a handful of guys still on that program from before if they're still around otherwise there is no one

That's all good and dandy, but I would never let someone dispatch my truck.
