Misesian, I've been following your thread (albeit silently) and I have to say good job to you!
It's been interesting to see you grow into a real driver in this industry, and all the while maintaining a great attitude throughout.
Setting aside my personal feelings in regards to certain company practices, I will say that I hope Knight realizes what they have in an employee like yourself!
Best of luck to you and thanks for a great thread!

I actually made it on time. Not sure how I managed that. The rest should be easy now. Already have a preplan from VT back to TN. Miles are Rollin' in now. Been a little slow for about 3 weeks.

I have one dud day coming back on my recaps; after that I'm set to run this down and get loaded in for a few days off.
Fajo Thanks this. -
NYC went pretty well. I got there at 1500 for my appointment and was told it would be 0600 before they got to me. I was planning on staying there anyway so it wasn't a big deal but I got some extra detention pay for it. It was weird on the way out. I would have expected it to be more busy on 278E and 95N to VT but it wasn't bad. I am in OH for the night. Watching the truck stop circus for a while to entertain myself.

Finally made it in for a few days off. Ready for some r&r.
Fajo Thanks this. -
Have fun with your R&R, im tryin to figure out this new dedicated run out of Washington they have me on. Appt. times are all out of whack for both delivery and pickup lol. But its good miles once we get it hammered out.
You need to get up in my neck of the woods again Misesean. Would be awesome to sit down and BS!Last edited: Sep 20, 2015

Got a load heading to Tacoma, WA. I dropped it in a door to load and was told to shuttle an empty across town. No big deal until I saw both empties at the other place were no good and had them red tagged. On one, the slider rail was sitting on top of the pins; not sure how that happened. The other one had a totally flat tire that wouldn't take air, a missing tail light, and a missing door hinge. Mobile repair was going to come out and I just went and got my load and hurried away from there.
