Oh nice! Nope no placard but it went to a landfill. The place that loaded my dump trailer gets them from vet hospitals, labs and universities I guess

Once hauled two boxes of baseball caps. Yes, two boxes about 4'x4' each. In an empty 53' trailer. I picked thrm up and carried them in. And I hauled them anout 300 miles no less. Hope the company got a good rate on that one...

Many years ago I hauled 1 gallon of automotive paint in a 53 footer. It went from some paint company in the St Louis area to a Chrysler plant in OH. It was a hot load. Paid me for a full trailer load.

1 Snowmobile on a 53' flatbed up into Northern Ontario Canada was to be a full load but they were not ready so they said get going , paid the full rate was in their contract that deliver had to be ATTEMPTED by a certain date , also dragged an empty dry van 2200 miles at loaded rate to ensure the customer would have one of their trailers available at their 2nd plant when I arrived

I used to haul live big head carp from Arkansas to Calgary for the Chinese stores. 14,000 lbs at a time, and made nearly a buck a lb (if everything went well.). Canadian Gooberment decided it was "verboten", so we switched to live buffalo fish from Iowa, but we never got the price back up.

I once hauled an empty Coca-Cola trailer from Edmonton, Alberta to Terrace, BC and bobtailed home. ~815 miles one way. I got paid $1500, as a company driver. Seems Coke ordered the trailer new, and the carrier flaked out in Edmonton and my boss took the contract over. That computes to 1.06 a mile total miles.
Straight Stacks Thanks this.
