Nothing brings back memories of the 80's better than thinking about 4or of us riding around in my Buick Regal with a couple coolers of cold ones in the trunk! I quit drinking 9 years ago, it was time. I remember stopping and we all got out to take a leak off a bridge. I yelled out, man that water is cold down there, one of the others guys said if you think the water is cold, you should feel the mud on the bottom! My GF at the time and her pants around her ankles and was holding on to the bumper to go. She looked kinda funny by the glow of the taillights. I'm glad I'm a guy.

Ha ha.... man that brings back so many memories.

It was the beginning of the end to a golden era that's for sure.

Can't get away with that stuff anymore.

I went through Edgewwod the other day. Edgewood is where the Illinois Central splits into two. There is the Bluford alignment and the Centralia alignment. They come back together down by Fulton, KY. Ever hear the song The City of New Oreans?

Graduating in 1989, I missed the muscle car era. There were still some around, but the prices were already starting to creep up. Most examples were pretty ragged out at that point.

Almost bought a Primer colored '72 Chevelle at 17. Steering rack was looser than the C'mercial Com'pny on payday... but it had twin 4bbls sticking out of the hood and it'd lift the front end on a launch.

Ol man said that car would kill me. Glad I listened to him.
