Yeah, a lot had pretty rough lives. But, like a said by the late 80's people were starting to see them as worthy of preservation and restoration. It seems kind of strange now, but I remember a few 67-69 Camaros, 69-72 Chevelles, etc, at high school. They were daily drivers, not garage queens.

i have had headlights burn out while driving and depending on the truck i had at the time, if i had a spare bulb, i''d replace it.

nowadays, with the trucks i had been driving, it can be difficult to change a bulb on the side of the road. also too, sometimes, it is not as easy as it once was to get to change the bulb. then too, Penske does NOT give us a spare bulb, and I WILL NOT pay for a bulb out of pocket. (they used to give us one low beam, one high beam, now they do not)

this close to retirement, i could give a flip about my PSP or CSA points. then too, if i do not see that deer run across my truck, i can hit it better, and faster than if i spotted it and slowed down...

i like blood and guts all over the place.
