My fuel gauge actually faulted out, and the SA in Dallas told me I could just calculate it myself if I didn't want to wait for the main shop wait time.

So I've been using the fuel readout on the dash as well. I think it's a lot more accurate than a gauge anyways, because it calculates how much fuel you've used based on the MPG fluctuations. Take in to account that it holds roughly 180 gal. and just do the math. Jill has been telling me to fuel up about the right amount every time, so it must be pretty accurate.

An IC who does not like the new contract decided to just drop it where it was and that's all she wrote.

Well that's the best I can come up with right now.

I must be doing something right! That includes idling all night last night. The 12000lb load followed by this 5300lb load probably helps a bit too.

I have never seen a trailer bend like that. Paper rolls?

I don't know about that. I saw an IC at the JB Hunt rail yard in NY not check his fifth wheel and pull out of the parking spot. The trailer dropped. Of course it was loaded with 45000 lbs of paper. Landing gear folded up like it was made of tin foil. I've never seen a chassis with a load on it twist up that bad before. All I thought was better him than me.
