DY your comparison with the SNI driver.... Do you know his running area? I could be wrong but with the short loads he is doing I'm guessing the NE? And Not sure but you don't go near the NE correct?

I'm guessing he ran NE too. I did a couple loads to the NYC area, and a handful to Buffalo, but I mostly stay away from the NE...

Ya, his numbers look good, but to have to stay in the NE to achieve that IMO not even close to being worth it

Buffalo doesn't count as the northeast.

a lot of the SNI freight for the IC's seems to be concentrated in the midwest especially the short stuff from what I gather on their threads

I can imagine a guy living up there or who's from there would make a killing. What I told my buddy who just started with Landstar is to be careful going up there because you could get stuck running around up there or either bounce to PA or MD. Majority of the freight from NJ and NY and even parts of PA going right back up. I would assume it's that way with dry van also?

Tons of short runs for good money in the northeast. I could never leave and pull a couple grand easy net if I chose to stay in that area...which I would if I didn't have obligations elsewhere.

I'd rather make less, but stay out of NE. I only go there when I dont have another choice. I dont want stress to add a thick layer of fat around my waist, I already forgot how does my 6 pack look after I started driving:rolleyes:
