At three time, I never really thought about it much. But now, I'm thinking about googling it. After all, they can't put anything on the Internet that isn't true.... CzM2CTBl.jpg

You know, I was thinking about his topic a little, while having lunch. Probably dozens of "what do you carry on the truck" discussions, but never really seen one like "of all the crap you carry on the truck, what actually gets used more than anything?"

Can't have enough zip ties, all sizes.
At least a spare roll of gorilla tape and some white duct tape (reefer/van racing tape)
A roll of 3M brand contact tape (most commonly used to stick rubber moulding on a car) and a big roll of 3M self adhesive Velcro. The no-name stuff sucks.
    Big can of WD40
    Paper shop towels
Tire pressure gauge and gladhand air hose.
Grease gun and a couple of refills.
When none of that will work, plan B: cell phone and a credit card.

Lucky girl... Got herself a French model...

And yeah, I know. That's why I said its "supposed" to work. Until I can replicate it, it's purely theory.

...I'm still trying to replicate 2+2=5. I keep getting 4!

That's actually kinda cool. Didn't even know they made those...

...I'm sure they cost an arm and a leg, but that'd keep me from making quite a few service calls.........

Low and behold, Bonjour says it can work, welding with pocket change and a car battery. Just need to dial it in a little.

Ogre, that is pretty sweet! But I better refrain from getting one. Altom might wanna start giving me all the crappy trailers

Well I took the wife to a mexican restaurant for lunch, she liked it but I wasn't impressed
First strike against them was the no weapons sign at the door, didn't like having to leave my gun in the car.
Second strike was no lengua on the menu, haven't found it in any mexican restaurant in Tennessee yet.
The nachos I had were ok but the tamales sucked

I carry a 1/2" & 3/4" impact guns, 2 die grinders, gorilla glue, tape and epoxy. A mid size tackle box coverted into an electrical repair command center. 2 bottles jacks. A hydraulic cable crimper. An emergency lug wrench (58:1 torque multiplication), extra engine oil, extra gear lube, 30 wt oil (in case the trailer hydraulic system leaks), ratchet straps. Jumper cables (duh). Bottle of soapy water (tracking down air leaks). Small metric tap and die set. Digital micrometer. Tow strap. Big electric buffer/grinder. D/A sander. Heat gun. Grease gun plus extra grease. Lots of extra lights. And a really dirty pair of coveralls (so I don't get dirty). Duffle bag of wrenches and sockets. And I'm sure alot more stuff that I can't think of right now

Oh yeah, one last thing. I'm sure red, ogre, duo, Ms Rocks, Vilhiem and pretty much everyone on this thread has this one thing.

Common sense / brain. Most valuable asset we've got!
