    In a heartbeat.
I'd probably stick with fleet instead of flipping to warehouse.
There isn't much else I'd change or do differently.

    Nice Sunday evening read!

Couple of questions...did you come into this with no money down and very little money in the bank which was the reason for the advances? Did they require a credit check?

No credit check, no money down.
The reason I did this is actually kind of silly.
Based in Grand Rapids, they don't let company drivers take the truck home unless you live nearby or near a customer.
I live 3 hours north of the yard.
I don't have a second vehicle, and bus routes would take 2 days to get me home.
I like the company as a whole, but it would be burdensome to have my wife relay me, or get a second car payment .
So, I took another swing at it.
I think I'm doing pretty well, for the most part.

    The GYG Thanks this.

I advance every week to keep my on road expenses separate from the at home bills.
Sometimes I get enough left over, I just deposit it while I'm on the road . There is no interest or fees to advance, or I wouldn't do it.

    The GYG Thanks this.

I don't live far the the terminal, although we see no value on having another vehicle payment and additional for insurance while I'm gone for the week either. The only pain is when it snows hard, then I take a taxi to keep the wife off the road. Thank you for the reply!

Currently I'm running line haul, I have been looking into L/P and have found a small company and have been approved (Will not mention till I start). I'm not one to carry cash and probably would start another bank account instead of carrying cash to keep expenses separate.

    Was wondering if you incorporated?

I don't think I make enough yet to incorporate. I could be wrong. I'll defiantly look into it when I'm close to paying this thing off.

I just saw a us xpress truck pulling a tilt a whirl ride. How does USX make any money doing that? Unless it's just a relocation pull

Not sure about that. I do see USX advertising like crazy in my area for their Dollar General Dedicated account. $7,500 sign on bonus, up to $75K, and home every weekend for 34 restart.
