I love being the captain of the ship... I can do what I want when I want if I want... only the load dictates... Don't have to "worry" about anybody else... I can sleep with the truck parked and do my cooking the way I want... I have the "whole truck" all for myself! :yes2557: And it's ALL my own responsibility to make sure it is safe... I like that too...
I think I am a very good planner and although I have to deal with parking at the end of my hrs, I still prefer that to move to sleeper and stay in with truck is bouncing till I gotta drive again... :biggrin_2552:

In the company I was.... once one of my team partners abandoned the truck and the company, I was assigned to "his" truck and had to keep it rolling or I would "lose" it... So, I would not spend much time searching for that "ideal" partner... I wouldn't spend more than 2 days finding the next one... :biggrin_25512: Had to keep the wheels turning...
It's a pain to be constantly looking for a partner... I wish you well... Hope you find someone "good" soon... :biggrin_25519:

    Vilhiem and TruckDuo Thank this.

Hey... it's midnight here (central time) and it's time for the "Cinderella" here to get ready to go to bed... :biggrin_25518:
Nice "chatting" with you all.... And I was finally able to catch up with y'all... but not for long I know...
Tomorrow there may be 20 or so pages to read... if I have time... Y'all take care..

I actually sleep better,in the top bunk, with the truck moving.
Im not big on sleeping,8 hours,in a row.
If Im at a ts,there is too much activity, for me to get any restfull sleep.
My last partner was horrible excuse for a truck driver.had to wear a mask, and ear plugs,to sleep...what a LOSER!

    Rocks and TruckDuo Thank this.

We do the prep on the little pull out table then put the steamer on the floor.

It never fails. Just past exit 86 on 81. Accident and backup. I just followed a couple of local trucks who knew a way around it. :D

What had me confused, was the tire only looked like that on about a 1/4 or a1/3. Rest of tire wasn't nearly that bad. All the way out, it was always sitting on the bad section

    Rocks Thanks this.
