I bought their 12.7 non wastegated turbo. $200 more than I could have paid for the Borg Warner it was from somewhere else.

I bought one of the PP mufflers, and I overpaid, obviously. I don't consider it a ripoff, I was a willing buyer, and I paid the asking price.

What galls me is Bruce stating during an interview "we figured out how to make a muffler without baffles". That's a lie, obviously. THEY just sold someone else's invention. Sellling stuff for high prices is fine, the lying isn't.

You know that is just pathetic. I can't stand how many scam artists there are in this industry.

I am so glad for this forum, it has saved my tail a few times.

The PP mufflers are not going to give you any performance unless your current exhaust is heavily restricted. Don't go for it unless you know you have a problem

If your current exhaust it's stock, it is restricted. As far as I know, every oem users a baffled muffler.

As far as Bruce being a scam artist, he doesn't do anything that everyone else does. Rebranding parts had been around in the performance truck and auto industry since before any of us was alive, and will continue long after we are gone.

So just out of curiosity, have any of you with flow thru or straight pipes noticed any drop in egt's vs. the stock mufflers?

Absolutely. Lower back pressure will always drop egts on an engine. Assuming of course the intake has sufficient flow and injectors push decent fuel. Also a good flow thru muffler will give better turbo response time.

A little off subject but oh well, needed hijacked anyway! Lol,
I have also herd that the dampener and balancer that pp has their name on is also a rebranded part. Cummins I think but not 100% sure. Someone enlighten me.
