Somewhere in ND, about 400 miles from my t-call at Inver Grove.
Just after I sent my Mac 32 my PTA was reset to 1800 tomorrow.
My DM has reset it twice for 9/28 1200 in the past couple days as my home time PTA, but someone (or the system) keeps trying to reset it to when I deliver this load.
I sent a Mac 34 to reset my ETA to 1400 tomorrow, and my PTA to where it should be for when I come off home time.
It was a nice day, however. Up early and stopped early at this little truck stop, so I got a good spot.
It'll be nice to get home, especially since it will be 3 months before I can get back there. -
I have been solo for a little over a month now. Figure its time to chime in here.
Doing a 34 here at the Petro in Sparks Nevada after delivering at the Petsmart DC. Man I hate 34's. -
Me too.
I try to run my hours so I don't have to do a 34.
I just watched the movie Kick-### for the second time, and I think I enjoyed it more the second time around.
I wonder if that will get censored... if so, lame. It is the name of a movie. -
My runs lately have left me no choice. I have been burning my hours in 6 days.
Right now I have 7 hours with no recaps tonight. -
Well, I guess it did.
Hey Mods, how about adjusting your settings so that I can mention a legitimate movie name?
Being politically correct is one thing, but ###'ing out the title of a movie is beyond reason.
Don't you think?
I mean, REALLY! -
That video that we got today was rather funny.
Bronze drivers challenged to accept pre-plans as is, vs. other drivers just accepting as they usually do.
The ones that took everything had around 115 miles more per week.
And I wondered, is it worth it?
Is it worth it to accept Plus-1 timing, which makes you run as hard as possible with minimal breaks, just to get an extra 100 miles in a week?
And then to probably have to sit for a 34?
Personally, I don't think so.
I would rather run more consistent miles each day, and have a few more than 10 hours to relax and cook and eat and sleep.
I find it is better for my mental and physical well being. -

Right now im trying to be a good little trooper and take everything they send me. I still have a lot to learn. Trip planning and time management are on the top of my list.

Rest area on I 44 in Missouri. Had this feeling in the back of my head not to take this load to St. James and I should have followed my feelings. Every thing on Mac 30 is empty 178 miles to Neelys and deliver no more than 450 miles. One actually 420 miles for Saturday. My dm got me one for temple for Friday and the planners pulled it within 1 hour. Every time get close to home on a Thursday or Friday it is time to bend over since the loads that deliver on Friday will not let me grab something decent that could t-call. That would take to much work for the planners
