I'm really clueless when it comes to running that area. I always see cheap loads out of there and the one time I went the only thing that could get me out paid cheap.
Sometimes I've seen good things out of Laredo but that's really down there.

I don't know the answer to that but what I do know these load alerts have hurt me.
It's crazy how fast good loads go now...
I stopped using the dang load alerts because by the time I get around to it the loads are always gone.
My operation is different now because of that system and not in a beneficial way.. to some yeah it's helpful but a one man show like me it's hurtful.
New drivers here have said Schneider is cutting back hiring supposedly. How much of that is true idk.

I've got 640mi booked going for nearly $2k this weekend. ..what do you mean no $$ in texas??.lol...Texas just like all areas when you decide to leave a region, you more likely than not will take a hit in revenue per mile. ..

I feel you are correct sir.
Experience there is something I don't have so I don't really know but Schneider is all about regional loads it appears. However I did see my first ever 85 MPH speed limit sign in Texas lol so that was cool.
In a rental car I ran a toll by mail road, don't recall ever seeing anything like that before. Didn't even have the option to pay cash.

Oh and also.. good job! Must be nice to live around there and be able to do well.

The staff reads here frequently, its thier job. No one reported anything, and the back and forth was noticed by the staff. I agree, the bickering should have been taken to pms and not aired publicly. The same applies to you. Including someones name in a post exposing their identity on here is not allowed.

Totally with you on the alerts. If you're not camping on a load its gone .000001 seconds after it becomes assignable.

It started when they created the mobile device board and niw with the alerts its just become ridiculous. ICA says they have recently realized its a problem and people higher up the food chain are working on a solution.

Well they made it in a way more helpful.. with loads alerts and the mobile app however it has changed the game as in at least for me has made it more difficult to get hot loads.
When you see something new that's very good you don't even have a minute to think about it, things go that fast as you've said.

Well I'm back in the Northeast with a lumper live unload... fun times.
Somewhat been on a night shift I'm trying to change out of.
This morning at around 1am walking out of a truck stop saw someone was backing into a space... went out to look to be safe and some dude has zero patience and tried to go around him and took off his entire bumper. Fight almost broke out. Man idk if I would have been able to contain myself if that happened to me.
It's been a while since I drove through the night around here, I forgot how crazy parking is. I mean going across PA and then I-78 seeing endless drivers simply taking their 10 hour break on the side of the interstate!
As much as I love my little midwest zone I run in a lot I had to get away from it. There's only soo much of doing and see the same things I can take. It is nice to change things up.
