That's why they have the barriers and fences on the shoulder. To keep the NJ drivers from swerving into the woods to hit one.

Hey good to know the dry side has more room and can stay hooked. I've only been there with a reefer and have avoided it ever since. But I believe we deliver water there so I'm willing to go with a dry box if necessary.

As far as your company...I just don't see how they can afford to operate the way they do..as a small company. I know if I operated my business the way they do I would be broke. They don't want to haul cheap freight yet they consistently don't preplan you till you are empty which means they are hauling leftover crap loads in those markets or sending you on long deadheads like you are currently doing.

And then the freight they do book ends up being heavy and they don't let you slide the 5th wheel. Just mind numbing to me.

11.3K IS WAY TO LIGHT to be running on the steers with 3/4 of a tank if you can't adjust and going to book heavy fright. I know I've posted a scale ticket that light on the steers here but on my old truck that was the sweet spot and I was able to adjust as needed...which was rare because it was a light truck.

Funny because after I got off the phone with you and finished getting loaded...I scaled and here was the result.

Something tells me you wouldn't have been able to haul this. Hopefully you can talk a little sense into them....you seem to like your company I just worry they won't be around much longer the way they operate.
