tampa isn't too bad this was the first time I've had real issues out of them other than the load not being ready if you go in too early. we used to have an early time of 0500 but they were never ready then so they changed it to 0800 and they're almost always ready by then.
the one in Columbia is, well, in Columbia lol being from SC I can dump on them like that. folks in the columbia area are not the sharpest tacks in a state of very dull ones. been that way ever since I was a kid and we used to cruise down here on the weekends
there was one 48 in Columbia they put in the wrong dock and had the mudflaps ripped off. they have standing orders from the company to not use docks 3 and 4 for some reason the angle of the dock and the lock rips the mudflaps off. but they do anyway. usually they just throw them up in the back of the trailer but they were nowhere in sight on this one.
we've been having issues with them in mesquite too. wish we'd just drop the whole customer across the board......but we could get worse so I guess we just deal with it. they're consistent regular loads in places we don't have vendors for materials close by so it is what it is
I hate Peoplenet, where are you parked and recipes thread

As I recall they actually unloaded me in a reasonable amount of time, which surprised me. Last two times at Pepsi, I was there all day to unload (Orlando) and dispatch told me to abandon the pickup and get another load (Wichita).
The Wichita Pepsi plant was about 24 hours behind. I spent the night in the street, was dispatched to pick up empty beer kegs at the MillerCoors distributor to ship back to Fort Worth, was loaded and halfway to Fort Worth when the Pepsi guardshack called me to tell me my door was available.TruckDuo and flyingmusician Thank this. -
I saw one of the drivers detention sheets, they were paying $1200 in detention fees.
TruckDuo Thanks this. -

An Ashley Furniture truck parked one spot away from me. Seems like an ok guy, he's driving a Volvo. Something seems shady about the ones driving Kenworths though.......
Vilhiem, Cranky Yankee, TruckDuo and 2 others Thank this. -
Ok, it's 67 degrees in Dickson right now. It's been raining almost all afternoon. Freaking beautiful weather...and the two guys on either side of me are idling.
Guess it could be worse...JB on my left could have an A"PU". -
