Yes and no. First stop is supposed to be a preload but on this trip it never is it won't be ready so that's 2 live loads Monday and neither get in a hurry. Good miles for sure but I'll only get maybe 6-8 d/h for the week so that'll sting a little on the check. Portage or reedville to Arcadia from baraboo then one or 2 out of Arcadia then home.

I'll keep rolling and miles will be good it's 1141 up and 1035 back but you know the drill here. The lack of drops will hurt for the week.

At the Petro in Weatherford, TX. 690 miles for the day. The DFW drivers were in rare form for a weekend. Only 4 accidents on 20 between the 635 and 820.

Saw some guys getting ready to have a circle "you know what" over these Petes. Looks like someone knocked down the light next to the trucker chapel. That must have taken some work.

NB I-81 WV welcome center. Was thinking of going on to Greencastle PA but was getting tired and decided PA will be there tomorrow. 600 miles and I think about 50 without rain. Now that I said that, there will probably be rain here soon. The good news is I got in here 15 min before all the spaces were full. Sometimes even a blind squirrel gets a nut.

@flyingmusician or anyone running 81 lately, what's the forecast for Harrisburg to Pottsville mid afternoon on a Sunday? I haven't been thru there in a couple months. Last time I took 78 out to Allentown and the WB side at the split looked really bad due to construction.

If you're going directly to Pottsville 61 is a pain with the neverending construction from 4 miles north of the exit off 78 almost all the way to Pottsville with a 3-4 mile reprieve in the middle. sunday shouldn't be too bad through that stretch. Narrow lanes a couple a sharp shifts and bumpy as hell.

If you stay on 81 and come down into Pottsville it's not bad on 61 that way but there's construction just past the split from the 95 or so mm up past the 100 and it's usually backed up a couple miles if you stay on 81.

Better to run 78 out to the 29 and take 61 up to Pottsville unless you know a better way in lol I only know that way in because I run through there coming out of Leesport to points north. I've never had to get there approaching from the west

81 on a Sunday afternoon most likely will be a nightmare. It has been last few times I've been up to Leesport on Sunday. At least you got through Va that's where most of the nonsense happens. Should just be thick traffic from where you are on up

No permits required. They just issue trailer plates relatively cheap to out of state owners that hold a ME title. The title agents handle everything so you don't have to go there to do it. http://www.nationaltrailerregistration.com/ is one of them. If I had trailers I knew I'd be keeping for 5 years, I'd do it. With new or newer trailers, absolutely would. GA charges ad valorem on registrations, so the more valuable they are the higher the yearly renewal is.

It is pretty clear. Those screen captures were using the viewer app on the smallest setting. On large, it will almost full screen the 24" monitor on my desk. Clear enough to read plates if the lighting is good enough. Raw video is avi format and about 300MB 3 minute files. Time and gps stamps appear on the raw video, but speed, direction, and moving map are only shown in the Cobra app.

To be honest, I think just about any dash cam that's fairly recent will have similar quality. I bought the CDR-840 online.

Thanks for that. I'm not going into the actual town. Wegman's off exit 119. GPS says 2.5 hrs, I'll give it 3 to be safe.

The next trick will be seeing the gps route from there to Rochester NY. Google suggests PA-901/54 thru the woods. I'll look that up in the atlas in the morning and see if it's an actual truck route or not. It will certainly be dark by the time I'm done at Pottsville. Maybe it will be raining and foggy too. Seems like every time I get off the interstate on a new to me PA backroad it's dark and the weather sucks.

Yeah I was racking my brain trying to figure out what in Pottsville was big enough to take a truck lol

901/54 isn't too bad. 901 is a little hilly in spots but it's not too bad. Typical thru the woods Pa but I've done worse lol I have to run that up out of Leesport going to montoursville.
