You guys talking about the dump,Im calling home for the night?
The one with road construction and narrow lanes and concrete walls to make all turns interesting?
You can find the ladies.in the back row..next to all the open parking spaces...even after midnight.
Picked up my new team mate, running the laredo-indy loop, with a detour to nc.New team mate drives great...easily picked up driving the automatic..although I still see him using his left foot..clutch pedal or not:)

Dont have to move 5th wheel often,as usually steers weigh 11,800,but there are incorrectly loaded trailers, where you need to move 600 off the drives somewhere, and your tandems, are fully forward...guess its better to be 200 pounds over,on the 12k axle, then 600 over on steers.

Anyone know the stock make of the T680 5th wheel?
Had problems with my first truck, wouldnt release, had to have shop clean all the grease and crud out at 76k miles.
Went to deliver my first load and got stuck.
Hadnt been home,to grab tool pouch.
Road service needed to come out with pry bar to unlock 5th wheel, while I applied outward pressure,on the release handle.

    Rocks and TruckDuo Thank this.

Home for the weekend, but battling one of my recurring kidney stones...ugh.

I had a pretty bad week overall starting out with the new company. Left out on Monday morning with a 3 stopper going to Altoona and Greensburg. First stop came off ok, just took 2 hours to get paperwork. Second stop it took 3.5 hours, and they refused 120 cases (2 skids) due to the product being "out of date range" which, while it was dated October 2015, wasn't out far enough for them. Called dispatch and they said to deliver third stop which went smoothly since it went to a place with no lumpers.

After that I had to wait almost 4 hours while they all figured out what to do with the product. It turns out another driver had 32 cases refused at the same place I delivered to, but he had headed out to a truckstop to wait. After the nearly 4 hours I sat, I was instructed to go meet him, and we'd transfer his product to my trailer and I'd take it back to the shipper.

Did that just as I was running out of hours so slept right there at the truckstop and took off for the shipper the next morning. Dropped that off and reloaded out of the same place for a 2 stopper.

Both stops were going to the same place in Greencastle, but since it was a mixed cold/dry load, the cold had a 10:00am appointment. The dry had a 5:00pm appointment. I had hoped they would take the dry product (4 skids) along with the cold. Nope. I had to go back to the truckstop and wait for the 5:00pm appt to deliver the rest. From there I was given the option of going home since they had no freight locally that would get me home in time for the weekend. I took it since I was already feeling the effects of the kidney stone.

Basically the week was crap as I barely turned 1,000 miles due to all the delivery issues. Just to add insult to injury, someone stole my good Wilson2000 antenna off the truck (Cascadia bird perch mount) sometime Wednesday night while I was sleeping.
