I'm in the Tar Heel State right now. Snuck a night at home, delivered to the Biscuitville DC this morning and now in Dunn NC poised for my 6 am to get empty. Reload in Garner NC headed to a Friday AM South Bend unload....
The wife still recognized me...My key still fits the lock.... And her boyfriend doesn't keep a toothbrush at the house yet!! Lol!Rocks, allniter, RedForeman and 5 others Thank this. -
I've been driving 26 years and if there's a yard truck there and it's really tight I do the same thing, I let them put it in. That's not being a rookie that's being smart.
Rocks, allniter, peterbilt_2005 and 4 others Thank this. -
you know Scott isn't as dumb as I look
sshewins, TruckDuo and HeWhoMustNotBeNamed Thank this. -

A little bummed today. Been recapping hours for a couple of weeks and I've got a couple of 6 & 7 hour days due to loading/unloading downtime. Loaded in Brewster, Washington on Saturday morning headed to Wisconsin. Had 6.5, 7.5, 9 & 9 hour days and needed to make delivery this morning at 0600 local at the WalMart DC in Tomah, WI. Made it to Fargo, ND yesterday afternoon before running out of hours, so no way that I could make it in time for my appointment this morning. Pulled up to the gate at 0820hrs local, about 2:20 late, and they turned me away stating I needed to make another appointment instead of just working me in. Get to sit here until 0300hrs tomorrow morning instead of getting unloaded and maybe getting a 34 bour reset in and visiting some family that live 150 miles east near Sheboygan, WI.

Gonna load in the AM fer Joisey, the northern end. First trip with a deck in a coupla years, should be fun. Duo, you would be correct, however Luda said it another way that also would be apt. Since this a semi-PG show, we'll leave it at that, One more day of trashin then back to work. Carry on!
