Gotta love truck stops. I have a reefer and a prostar idling at 2000 rpms with the fan cycling every 3 seconds.

must seem like it. thankfully the reefer I parked next to tonihgt was much quieter than last nights. He left a little bit ago.

Idled to cool the truck down and now have my fan on, windows shut. too humis and might rain.

The thing that really gets me is the APU with the exhaust pointed right at your sleeper. I had one that was so loud that I could feel the side of my truck vibrating. I use a fan as white noise and it barely helped

I completely understand, I have parked in the back of a lot, by myself, only to have some turkey park his loud truck or reefer beside me. They usually wake up to find the seal missing from the door.

You mess with someone's rig just because they parked in a legal parking spot and it was loud for you? Seriously?

Yep, but only if I'm parked in a large lot far away from other trucks. Now, If I'm parked in a full lot, I can understand. It dosnt happen often, but I figure the guy don't like pumpkins, or he thinks it's funny- I don't take to kindly to being disturbed.

It IS ##### rude if they pull next to some one with ample other parking with a running reefer. Now if I choose to pull next to one then thats on me.

Once I'm asleep it doesn't really matter. Have bigger issue with poorly maintained motors and apu spewing fumes.

    mickimause and rickybobby Thank this.
