I think I have 9 I lost count. I know that they want us to have 13, that is everything we can do and all our backup racks, plus ethanol unloading at KM orange, which we don't really do in the T&Ts. I got carded at Shell Carson almost a year ago and never used it, so now if I want to load ethanol I have to go back and get re-evaluated.

And just got back from getting carded at tesoro, sucks sitting in traffic for an hour and a half each way to watch the same 15 minute video I saw at east hynes and vinvale lol... Although apparently this rack has a dead man switch that should be interesting.
Cali kid Thanks this. -
Yeah it's crazy a lot of our guys are only carded at LAT, but they are starting to change that with most of us newer guy. I like that I only see LAT maybe once or twice a week.
-
Hmm so do you have to hold a button till it's done?
-
Yep and you have to switch your compartments basically one handed while holding that trigger the whole time. And unfortunately im going to be spending a lot of time there because we picked up 2 arco stations that load out of carson that are truck and trailer only.
-
WTH sounds like more of a hassle then anything.
-
Heh...We only have three racks in all of Corpus. I'm carded at two of them, but only use one. Actually went to the orientation at the third, and the Company that sent me folded the next day, so I never got to the OJT part.plant Thanks this.

Nice...I did about 300 today in 7 stops and three refinery stops. I usually have this 160mi R/T run every morning, then 2-5 stops in town, but got a break.plant Thanks this.

At the rack I always go to someone sharpied "press here for BEER" under the emergency stop button. At another station someone (probably the same guy) put "press here for faster loading."
-
Yeah with the traffic we have here 7 loads would be too much. We do 5 loads max usually. Plus we don't really do split loads whole truck goes to one station and we don't, do ethanol loads to refineries.plant Thanks this.
