Stopped at the Love's in Santa Nella, CA. 544 miles and 10.25 hrs, not bad for California.

Here's a sign most of you are familiar with. What's so unique about this sign that I took a pic and posted it?

Look at the CA60/Riverside sign. Notice how there appears to be something behind the CA60 sign? There is. It's the old US60 sign that used to be there. What's significant about that is US60 west of its current junction with I10 in Arizona was decommissioned in 1964 and CA60 was created to cover the section of now decommissioned US60 that became the Moreno Valley and Pomona Freeways.

So that means this particular sign is over 50 years old!

At the pilot in Rochelle. No point in going any farther with only an hour left after a wasted day.

Got to Naperville and finally got the load. This one we may drop. I hope so. The people in backhauls is as fed up with them as we are.

They assured her it was a preload. Get the load number and go back in and he tells me live load door 51. Uh......no. Call her back. She gives me another load number which is ready that wasn't supposed to go till tomorrow.....while today's hasn't been loaded. Time running out and traffic heavy roll on with it scale on the way. I didn't need the susp gauge reading light to tell me it was tail heavy lol

In the meantime the Backhaul girl is really bent out of shape over it. Bad enough it took me an hour 45 to get in and out with a d/h but they completely screwed her too. I won't mind seeing this one go away at all

Only 42241 but put it on the scale and its 27 on the drives and 37 on the tail. What moron loaded this one?

Pull it out way too long and get 30 and 34280. Pull it 2 more for good measure. Should be a fun day tomorrow.

Sounds like General Mills in Roanoke, TX. When I did drop and hooks there for Werner, I scaled out at the Pilot at Exit 65 on 35W (TruckDuo is familiar with it!). When I'd go in, the cashier would sometimes ask, "Load at General Mills?" I'd say "Yep". She'd say "Almost all the trailers that are way heavy on the trailer axles come from there."
