US6 does also. That's the longest one in the country, IIRC.

For once that was not me earlier in the week, even though I was expecting it on the reload which was cabbage. You can usually expect a produce shed to put on too much or too close to the doors. Not this dude. He had me loaded in about 30 minutes and looked like he'd done it a few times. Set the axles by the drive air pressure and this is what I got. Trying to get another one of these lined up this coming Monday. Already got my trip north booked.

That was with a 1/2 tank of fuel. They probably could have put one more pallet on, but I won't bring that up if I go back.

Part of my inheritance will be my Dad's collection of antique highway maps. Mostly the ones gas stations handed out for free back in the '40's and '50's, with a few that are earlier and later than that. The most remarkable feature is how much the bigger cities sprawled once the interstates were completed thru the '60's.

US6 makes it to Cali, but just barely. It ends 41 miles into California with a junction with US395 in Bishop. It used to run all the way to Long Beach but the Bishop-Long Beach got the axe like US60, US70 and US99 in 1964.

It was at one time the longest transcontinental route but now it's shorter than US20.

Leave it to California to mess #### up, lol.
