OP, did you sign something about catrying a firearm when you got hired? Maybe the company will put something like "violation of company policy" on your DAC. With your record I think you'll be fine. Good luck.

I doubt it, when I'm home I carry a 6 shot 22 revolver for shooting snakes, and I never take extra ammo.
And snakes are scarier than any thug.

I wouldn't worry. We had a driver get caught with beer in his cooler. Company had to pay 2 drivers to get him and his truck. He went to work for a bottom feeder company that is named after a type of dance (and I don't mean a chacha), left there and is driving for a certain ethnic group of owners (that love white Volvos) making a decent money.

I don't think bullets are illegal as long as you don't carry the gun you bought them for, or try to cross the border.

They'd have a baby with a bonnet on if they seen what I've carried at times.

Is there more to this story? not sure why in the USA a few pieces of ammo would disturb anyone, we used to regulary drive around with empty shells loaded shells in our SUV it was just part of life, however you may already know the answer to your question it comes down to the Law in your State plus what your companies rules are, If I was your employer i wouldn't make an issue of it, the problem is i'm not so you've got to deal with them instead might have to hire a good attorney cause i think you do have a good case if you really want to stay with the company.

Hi aj, I agree, somethings rotten here. I'm sure this job is cooked for them. Employers generally, don't think too kindly of lawsuits against them, but it could help them out with future jobs.

    Wow.

With that record i doubt youd have a problem finding a job.

Sucks that that guy went through your stuff instead of handing it in.

Did you have some old paladin press books in there too? Lol. I get the feeling some one thought you were a nut or something, preparing for an attack as opposed to just being prepared.

How long were you with this company? Surely not most of your 11 years, and they still fired you?

Just because you don't do it doesn't mean the OP doesn't do it, nor does what you do or don't do change the thought process of those who are afraid of the evil weapons.

When I carry, I have at least 2 spare, high-capacity magazines or 2 spare fully loaded speedloaders with me. People or things that want to harm you don't make appointments.
