I hate Peoplenet, where are you parked and recipes thread

as i was calmly (maybe) explaining to a prime guy that blocking the entrance to Fogelsville wasn't very smart. He said I didn't see you trying to get in
just past the unused guard shack is 10 spots for checkin
but like TS's it is 50 feet further so people don't park there
I told him common sense would tell him he can't block the entrance. He told me I was a super trucker.............sigh

Prime drivers are not all bad. I had to walk back and mention to one at Aldi's that his LED headlights weren't helping me back into the pitch dark dock area. He was actually cool about it, and gave me a glimmer of hope he might remember that at future stops.

Was trying to hit San Antonio and drop this stuff this afternoon. But had a Tire blow out on the trailer. Grabbed the trusty pry bar and peeled it off the rim. Then ran a couple of back roads in to the Loves.

Was also going to try to catch the Duo in Ft Worth area tonight. But than plan got 86'ed.

Now to try to find something, other than a DH to KC for a Monday morning pick, to keep me busy for the weekend.

We also just got a Peoplenet app which is pretty cool. Let's you know your hrs and current load and future loads.... Can do the load updates on the app but not logs...

 

I must be the other guy that parks right at that Americold. I'm not being courteous. I just think my odds of losing a hood are less in the proper parking spots.

 

I called my delivery to see if I could get unloaded early. They said they could get me after 8 pm tonight..... But I couldn't stay on their property for the night. I said 'See ya at 7am' the lady seemed a little bewildered as to why I wanted to wait till my appt and I explained that I wasn't giving up a parking spot at the Pilot to deliver early and screw myself later when there's no parking... She didn't get it....
Got the confirmation of reloaded tomorrow at General Mills in Kalamazoo headed to Fridley MN.
Was nice to sit in the truck and no one was idling or any reefers near me... So quiet for a truck stop... I'm sure someone with an air dryer poppin off every 39 seconds will park next to me.... But for now it's nice and eerily quiet.....

I read back 10 pages... That doesn't even cover today. I know I'm not in the 'in' crowd here.... But I really enjoy you people!!!! Keep posting!!
