Well, he was in Michigan, I live in an all white area in southern Indiana. And birdshot in the pistol is enough down here.
It must suck to live in ....unmmmm... a place where you can't feel safe.

Lol.... Nothing illegal but I use to carry my RCBS reloading equipment in a small suitcase, carried it in the company pickup that followed behind me while I pulled the RGN hauling equipment to a job site. Got pulled over back in the 90's because I looked like a guy that just robbed a 7-11 back home, I had a gallon freezer bag full of empty 30-06 cases I was going to put in the tumbler at Dads, along with other empty cases. I ended up in bracelets over that until they found out I was just a guy minding his own business. And that was in my 77 GMC Jimmy.

Me too, had 2 of them. 3 IH Scouts, 2 old square body Bronco's, 69-72 models. Always liked 4X4's, but I lived on top of a mountain too so it helped. The bad storm in the early 90's I put chains on my 78 Full size and made a path after 3 days of nothing moving.

I can not understand you northern states.
I go out shooting with one of my dispatchers occasionally on the weekends.

Maybe this is a sign for you to move to Texas like all the normal folks do.

Yeah, must suck to live/work where the "commies" wish you to not be able to defend yourself.

Hell, I carry a .380 in an IWB holster daily, with a .40 Glock 27 with 2 15 round mags in my EDC bag as backup in case baby brother isn't enough to handle whatever I encounter.

And for those who'll inevitably be along to question why I need to carry like this, I preemptively ask you why you feel the need to be defenseless in the presence of a possible armed attacker. Me and my family/friends are more important than to leave things to "chance".

It's better to have it and never need it, than to need it and not have it....Even once.

I don't see the problem. Do you haul hazmat or go into government facility's? This is crazy

Just saw the big shooting in Oregon, 13 dead so far, and that's a safe rural area 30 miles north of the Seven Feathers Casino, a safe place to stop.
    A great place to stop......

I used to own a 2 door 2 wheel drive S series Blazer which had to be one of the most useless SUV's on the planet, lol.
