So, finally got to check the truck out... Up until this point it's been phone calls, emails, texts and one in-person visit to sign a paper. But I hadn't seen the truck in person until today.
Overall... She rides well, off-road tires need replacing. But that's on me. Discovered several issues upon a thorough inspection with two sets of eyes. Nothing major, but we got the dealer to out of pocket the repair costs for all but one item. (Cruise control, two door locks, plus a couple others.)
Lowered the giving price, then upped it in exchange for a set of running boards to be installed. (Bar-style. Not cheap plastic.)
So, waiting to hear back from the dealer once they get everything fixed and find out if they can add a set of running boards. If so, then it's a deal. If not, well my s10 still runs well.
Heh... Folks are going to earn their pay. It's in otherwise good shape, but it was somebody's work truck. I suspected they low balled the hell out of the guy who traded it in, so they are working with a gross profit of roughly 6,000$ prior to repairs and add ons. -

TA Greencastle PA. 8 hrs at the freezer getting loaded last night kinda pushed my start time back today. Well that and some important TV watching and breakfast. I knew it would be a late arrival and opted for a paid spot and peace of mind. Detention payment more than covered it. Turned out renting a space was a good idea. I don't have to leave here till noonish tomorrow so it's all good. Getting a lil tired of driving in rain. Between the last trip coming back home and today, I'm at about 1,500 miles with the wipers on.
Lucy the dog is dreaming and sleep-barking at something. Cracks me up every time she does that. Fortunately she's not farting tonight. That's not cute at all.
Speaking of bacon wrapped anything, when I was a kid, my Grandpa was a commercial butcher and we'd get a case of bacon wrapped filet mignon once in a while. Now THAT is something worthy of having a strip of bacon wrapped around it LOL.Vilhiem, TruckDuo, sshewins and 1 other person Thank this. -
remember when you looked for good marbling on steak for the best flavor
filets need the bacon to add some fat
all the vegetarians are going to rise up and get us carnivores
