@Mark Kling
Hi mark my question for the TND tablet is does it suffer from the same poi listing as the 530 and 730. When searching for poi on my route the 530 and 730 both were limited to 1000km ahead in my route and that was rare usually it would only list around 400 to 600 km ahead. The Garmin I currently use is giving me poi on my route all the way to the destination, longest has been about 3200 km.
I am wondering why this limitation exists in the 530 or 730 and whether is also exists in the tablet.

You can search on POI's at My Destination also.
With the newer hardware this may change, but since the software is usually the same for all TND's the prior models processing speed is not as fast as the x30's models.

I don't mean to ask DFQ's, but can you use Internet functions if your truck doesn't have wifi? Can you connect the tablet to your Android phone's data plan? Can you buy a separate data plan for the tablet?

MarkGumptruck Thanks this. -
Accidentally prevented the GPS app update from installing by not having the "unapproved software allowed" option checked after it required an uninstall before update. how do I reinstall it without wiping the tablet?

Is there a link on how to transfer 520 Address list I have to my 530 without screwing anything up? Do I need to uninstall the 520 dock or is it the same for both?

Same dock.
Connect your 520 to the computer, close the Dock. Open an explore window.
Look for the TND - Navi/User/AddressBook/addrbook.db and copy it to the same path on the 530.
the Navi/User and the RM/User are your user files so you can copy all the folders/files from each one to the 530.
Thanks,
