Those questions are to never be asked, because the answers are so conflicted to the logging companies interests

Running for JCPenney's been good to me, they just don't leave you any time to do anything you need to do. Though, I could be doing it wrong. -

Changed my plans just before going to bed last night... didn't get up at 2:30 am but at 4:00 am... cause one of the lights on top of trailer was out and didn't want to drive for 2 hrs in the dark... what if some patrol on the road saw it and gave me a ticket...? would not be good..
Had plenty of time to deliver the load and to pick up next one...
So... decided to sleep a little more... which I TOTALLY needed...
And.. when I turned the lights on at 4:30 am... the light on the top WAS WORKING...WTF??
One of those that you absolutely can't see on daylight...
So... I didn't need to stop at Brintle's Travel Plaza for any light repair...
Arrived at my company's warehouse in PA this afternoon...
Folks were leaving... they will unload me tomorrow morning as planned...
Cleaned the windshields, inspected truck.... a bunch of youngsters got out of the building, posed in front of my trailer and took a group picture... Then, I unhooked and bobtail to closest supermarket... Unbelievable, spent about 3 hrs browsing in there... Wish Walmart had all that... huge variety of produce, a health food section with lots of products...
Came back to warehouse... cooked a delicious meal, updated my paper log according to my elog, did some paperwork, had my delicious supper... it's going to be a SUPER QUIET night...
Tomorrow gotta go to another place, not very far... a couple hrs from here... pick up load and bring it back here... only a couple hundred miles total.. but company gives me a flat rate that is more than what cpm would be...
BTW, last week Safety boss lady called me to say that they will be paying me one more cpm because of my second anniversary in this company... it's not much... but I can use that...peterbilt_2005, sshewins, TruckDuo and 2 others Thank this.
