I've got a question? Not sure if you answered this yet, but you info says, 15 years as a trucker, is your question about going into scale? If you have a CDL, you should be fine, if stopped by law enforcement, you should be able to prove you own the vehicles, title/bill of sale, some form of paper work that you yourself purchased the vehicles, and agree, if your buying say? Classic cars/trucks, I'd pick up a enclosed trailer, not for any other reason, but to protect the vehicle

Thank you all for the help. Sorry for the long absence, I lost my log in info and just found it. Just bought 2 more trucks out in Oregon that I will be bringing back to Texas when I figure out to get em here.

I love that add !! ....... the guy has been retired so long he still has a 'new' Ford on the deck, a tree growing thru the trailer, and the 'early' version of Super Single drive tires !!!

That single axle on the trailer must be a blast to try and stop on a wet road empty

I gave up my CDL years ago (I owned a small crane business), I used to drive cars a bit too fast and occasionally got tickets, here in Texas there are NO options for defensive driving or deferred adjudication if you hold a CDL.
I would not mind forming a relationship with a independent hauler to bring back trucks from time to time, that may be the best way.
My Father was a trucker, 55 years he drove. Retired from P.I.E. out of the Bay Area in California and continued to drive for years after retirement.
