Tutu a Mineira (it's basically a paste of black beans + collard and sometimes some kind of sausage + onions, boiled eggs, etc, etc...)

Not only that but all or most of those dishes she wouldn't eat. She just put those there to torture us. I was already hungry but now I'm headed out to find some grub for sure ! See ya's later, I'm in search of chow !

Yes... I know how you feel Mr. Vilhiem... I feel about the same... missing some REAL GOOD FOOD...
Gonna have the leftover I cooked yesterday... or the day before... And then cook some more... there's absolutely nothing at this Pilot or TA or FJ across the street that I would eat...

 

Yes Mr. HorseShoe... I like those dishes they make with rice, beans and some tomatoes, sauce and cheese... they generally have good taste... and being vegetarian, that's a good meal for me...

 

Well. I can't complain too much. This is the first week since I've been sick that I've had a chance to do some grocery shopping...

Tonight is a wrap, kinda like the one I posted a while back but I found a treat. One of my favorite cheeses (Asiago) and...well, it's my favorite, but it's peppered tofu lunch meat substitute.

Add tortilla, tomato, guac and lettuce...and I've got an old favorite.

Still doesn't top what you posted though. Hopefully I'll get a chance to try some awesome local stuff when I'm on vacation. My fiancée and I left one day open to roam around.

Roundy's up in Milwaukee owns Mariano's fresh Market in the Chicago area

 

Topo Chico has more carbonation than most so it's a bit more effective.

 

I got a small papaya here.. will take it to the kitchen sink at Pilot and slice it in pieces, put them in a container and put it in the cooler for later...
