I would'nt mind paying for parking if they used the money to clean the place once in awhile..Pay a kid to pressure wash the piss off the asphalt...Clean the bathroom more than once evey 24 hours..Hire another cashier ffs
Sadly the money goes right up their nose
I hate Peoplenet, where are you parked and recipes thread

Backed in next to a pristine brand new Pete 389. I stopped to check and the driver said he'd watch my blind side through the radio. Probably was glad it wasn't a mega flunkie with no radio or the sense to get out and check. I told him his truck was too good looking to back into.

Parking at a truck stop is neither premium, nor convenient.
I know many drivers don't like Denny's... But I'd much much rather give a Denny's my money over any TA. Especially since the last few times I've shown them any patronage, the drivers there were treated like crap, made to wait excessively and the food is purely ######## and priced the same.
Anyways...if I have to park at a TA or petro, then I'll do it. One less spot for someone who doesn't give a #### about how we get treated. But I'm not buying anything else there as long as I can avoid it.
Parked right now, and admittedly miffed about it, at a Hess off i77, exit 77 in South Carolina.
One of these days maybe I'll understand why it is that traffic is unable to simply move... Until then, I'll remain miffed and confused.Rocks, HeWhoMustNotBeNamed, sshewins and 2 others Thank this. -
I could sit here and listen to @joseph1135 ##### about TA/Petro all day. Hilarious ! We avoid TA/Petro unless we want Popeyes. Most of their locations are run down and outdated. Selection is terrible and set up is not driver friendly. Only good thing they have going for them is O/Os seem to get a better discount on fuel there.
I agree with @Cranky Yankee that all truck stops should charge for parking. Say this since my uncle owns a truck stop and it's very costly to run. Like @HorseShoe said if their gonna charge for it then we drivers need to see the money being well spent. The inside should not be run down, nice selection of products and most important....parking lot should not smell like piss. Before @Cranky Yankee busts my balls.....my uncle is trying. LOL
What I wish truck stops would do is put more effort into catching drivers who toss piss on the ground. I think it would be more entertaining to watch than rookies trying to back into a spot. I would gladly pay for parking if I could hoot and holler as the drivers get kicked out of the property.
