I agreed with your decision yesterday... I would have done the same thing... When I am unsure about a customer's parking situation, I don't try to park there overnight... I may get a little "upset" for not trying on the evening before, but generally that's the right thing to do... :biggrin_25519:

Yep better to get on the clock for 5 miles to come over here than be rudely awaken with no time on the clock and told to move with nowhere to go lol

I knew when I couldn't get a phone number for them something wasn't right about the place.

In the door 30 minutes now had a 0900 appt nothing is happening. Gonna be one of those wasted days I guess.

Ceva has a big terminal here. I call it a mini city. Our favorite part is the shopping center that's nearby. Found a lot of great stuff shopping there.

Load to Obenton, MD was ready so we hooked up and on our way. Lady wasn't sure that terminal is 24/7 so we might have to wait there till it opens in the morning.

Thought I was going to have a little chat involving the use of politeness and treating one's employees with kindness and respect at my last stop...

Manager stormed into the trailer, looked at who was helping me unload and told her in no uncertain terms, "get off this trailer! You know you're not allowed on here!"

Despite the lady who was helping out protesting and saying that nobody else was helping, the manager was downright adamant. To the point of disrespectful I thought.

Come to find out, the lady helping me at first had been trying to get pregnant for years and finally succeeded. I let it slide...

Glad I asked, otherwise my foot would've been firmly planted in my mouth.

Yes, except this isn't the 1800's anymore.

    I don't get it either...but as of 2000, that's a losing battle for anyone. Especially a guy.

My fiancée will likely end up being the kind I have to chain to the bed if there's any bed rest order.

Still thought about saying something to the manager...just in a much more understanding manner.

Edit: don't get me wrong... I wasn't worried about being helped. I've been "asked" to do a fully loaded truck before. I did it the way it's supposed to be done per Jcp standards. The guy came back and balked and complained about it and I proceeded to let him have my size 11 wide, up his ###. I haven't seen him at that location since.

Another person came onto the truck to help, so it wasn't a big deal to me. I just don't like disrespectful people.

I HATE coffee. weather it be DD or McDonald's, or whatever. That isle at the grocery store almost gives me the heaves. I will, however, redily admit to putting about a 1/2" of pumpkin spice stuff and then top it with hot chocolate. For me, that combo will trigger some type of reaction that keeps my eyes open for at least a hr or two. I might doze off, but my eyes will remain open.

I'm in TN, at the J on 40. Not sure exactly what town or exit. I'm flying somewhat blind. Gps crapped out over the weekend. Relying solely on the atlas and truckstop pocket guide
