Trucks are all used and depends on what they have when you come onboard. I have a Prostar, lately they have had mostly Cascadias. They did have a bunch of KWs last year. If your in the L/P program you always get take home pay regardless of truck expenses. First year truck gets 75% of linehaul plus 100% FSC and extras as stated above, of the 75% you get 26% directly to you for a "paycheck". Tarp pay also goes directly to you. The FSC and the balance of the 75% go to all your expenses and the balance is your lease payment. As long as you work you get have take home pay. I am making more and working less than I ever did as a company driver, and I should have my truck paid off at 28 months.

I contacted the recruiting department and they sent me some great information. So when you lease the truck is it equipped with all the securment equipment and tarps or do you have to buy it? I think I read somewhere that the trucks have a 30 day warranty is that correct?

Yes, 30 days warrantee, and all your normal securement is part of the deal, 12 straps 50 bungees, 2 lumber tarps, 10 3/8 chains and binders. If and when you need more stuff, they will add it to your note if you want, within reason of course. They get great prices on bungees and straps in town so load up there.

They seem to be bigger out west, but they do 49 states, I live in the NE and am doing fine. I do a lot of 2-3 k mile runs.

DrFlush, thanks for answering all our questions. Are you pulling a flat or step? Any OD loads?

I pull a 48' step with a sliding axle and a single load leveler. I do OD but haven't pulled one for months because the rates are so bad on them lately, I can usually find legal loads paying better
