You're also nor running over the road and have a very rare job local paying that much.. So what's you're point? If you're being paid by the hour I call BS that's $32 bucks an hour. If its by the mile I call BS unless owner op as that would be .63 a mile lol

I don't care what you "call". I get paid a salary and I'm a company driver.

View attachment 106946 Challenge accepted. $1440 a week average in 2015 and home EVERY weekend and most weeks only out 3 or 4 nights. With the pay for stops factored into the mileage rate it exceeds .60 cpm.

So 401k match, holiday, and sick pay o to be figured in as well? A lot of non driving pay included in that... However, its not gonna change much. Like I said if you have it its rare and I'll stand corrected...

Bonus 401k item is actually a fuel bonus and the per diem is subtracted from the mileage pay before taxes and given back tax free. Even though I've been there 8+ years it's still just a paycheck. And this company needs to advertise for drivers in order to grow. Not much turnover but no ones knocking the door down to get in either. and that's with 31 paid days off in the first year when you add up vacation (15) holidays (10) and personal time (6). Not at the end but in the first year. Most trucking jobs are lousy some are just worse Than others
