Is it possible to run like line haul, terminal 2 terminal lanes where I'm home daily if not almost daily or is that just out of the question?

Ohio is a great spot for freight, we are within 600-800 miles of 3/4 of the countries population.
you may want to look at Walmart dedicated IC out of washington courthouse. that isnt far from wilmington. Assuming you live near there anyway.
whatever you do, go slow and take your time researching. This is a big step. ask about low end stuff. If they say average this or that, need to know the potential for low end figures. See too many guys get sucked into the upper range of earnings possibilities , failing to see the all important words UP TO that procede these numbers.gentleroger, HeWhoMustNotBeNamed and Tim_1326 Thank this. -
Lots in and out of Ohio.
I've put in more miles in OH and PA than anywhere else.
Potential low end figures is actually going broke lol.. seriously. You can go bust here if you run dumb like for example deadheading 300 miles to get a load going 500 miles that pays $0.80 because it's "light" and "easy".
Do that a lot and you'll bust.
A bad week for me is not working.. I just took a week off. That's no income and negative $1103. Well okay actually about $968 cause the rest is maintenance money that's mine going towards a truck that's sitting this week.
Sure sounds scary but that's why it's important to manage earnings and time off.trucker91 and CaptainDaveG Thank this. -

In Florida visiting family.
No more driving the truck down here and dealing with cheap rates.
I'm all for the cheap flights buddy!
Spiritair:
Atlanta to Orlando $38
Frontier airlines:
Orlando to Philly $22, Philly to Orlando $29 .. lowest I've seen. Also from Chicago to Orlando for $29
If you're sick of Carlisle (like I am always).. Allegiant air has direct flights from Harrisburg to Orlando for as low as $51.
