Two nights ago I got royally screwed at a Sam's Club, supposed to be a drop and hook that turned into a seven hour live unload. That killed my trip plan yesterday in addition to destroying my night's sleep. Then yesterday at a shipper the loader parked his forklift in the middle of loading me and went to enjoy a nice leisurely lunch. Between that and Sam's I ended up at Cincinnati at rush hour peak. I houred out before I could deliver. Ops reset my appointment for today and now I'm playing catch up to deliver and do today's run before I hour out again. I'm still mad but at least I've slept now.
Tell me again how glamorous this all is....
I'm baaaaaack!!!!!!!!

I just got to listen to a receiving clerk yell at a guy for being 45 min late she went on and on about him not respecting her time then I get to the window I'm 30 minutes early. And she says it will be about 4 hours I just had to mention her respect for my time lol. Probably going to be here awhile lol

Houred out 55 mi from receiver. And I got a verbal reprimand for yesterday's late, service failure on a service watch load. Never mind that they sent me a new appointment for this morning the previous night. And and, just got told by night dispatch that they're failing this load. And and and, this is also a service watch load. This after repeated communication on my part but apparently no listening on my dispatcher's part that I was delayed at the shipper (lost about an hour). Now my job is on the line.
This isn't like Gordon. And I don't feel like I deserve these last two service failures. The one from a few weeks ago where I forgot how time zones work--that one's all mine. But not these two. I'm being accused of not communicating. I documented the living daylights out of this load. And the previous one, if I didn't communicate, how did they manage to reschedule me?
I'm calling the ops manager in the morning. This is bull.Dominick253, Panhandle flash, TB John and 1 other person Thank this. -
I had an outfit try something like that to me Zoom. Yes, they knew. There's no way they didn't. Buncha bs. I hope they clear that mess up in the morning.

Which is exactly why a lot of us are former Gordon drivers. I would never go back to them.
