C'mon, take me up on that one.

You might actually get me to explain my avatar, in detail.

Moose, no need to challenge you on that. I agree with you whole heartedly as I too believe in the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I was just trying to follow the rules and not start a religious fight. Curious about your avatar, since you brought it up.

MACK E-6 and Moosetek13 Thank this.

    Don't worry, I won't start any fights.

My avatar is sort of a mathematical representation of Life.

My guess would have been an archaic religious icon.

    No, purely of my design.

There are, however, archaic symbols that may have been derived from it.
The Christian fish, the heart, and the Egyptian ankh to name a few.

[swift is lucky to have someone like u onboard..speaking so highly of a company you work for even though u know you are just a number..nothing more...nothing less...can you even imagine working for a company where you can work as much as you want...earn as much as u want...stay home as much as you want, get paid right .not have that qual bs comm to stress you with loads of unimportant informations.a place where you are always No1.not profit..not truck and fuel..idle your truck to stay comfortable and not have to stress about anything minor and stupid?just pick up a load..drive it...deliver...get paid and do it all over again...can u imagine that sir? Do you find it possible? Well..it is possible.I work for an outfit like that..]

That's great that you work for a company like that, Doctorpanicc. You know what? So do I. And yes, I drive for Swift. I'm more than just a number here.My DM knows me by name, my former DM knows me by name, even the terminal manager knows me by name. When I stop in at my old terminal, several of the people there know me by name as well. That's part of the problem with these entitled new drivers that are only willing to stick it out for 6 months or a year, they aren't willing to put in the time to build a relationship.

Also, yes, I can work as much as I want, or as little as I want, if by work you mean how long I stay out on the road. And I can earn as much as I want, depending on how much I want to run each week. (Gee, that's beginning to sound just like every other company on the road.) See, I'm not like these new young drivers coming in that is more interested in how much Halo they can play and still be able to drive tomorrow. I will run as many miles as they are willing to give me. And I have the option of going home every week if I want (and still be able to bring home a reasonably good paycheck) or stay out longer. And as for getting paid right, I'm looking at a 2900 mile week this week and I will take home over $1000. Maybe that's just pocket change for you, But to me that's pretty good money.

As for the other stuff. I don't get stressed out over the stupid stuff. I deal with what needs to be dealt with and let the rest go. I pick up and deliver my loads on time, every day, get paid, then turn around and do it again. Can you imagine that, sir? Could that actually be possible?

And let me try to make this as clear as possible: WE ARE ALLOWED TO IDLE THE TRUCKS AS MUCH AS WE NEED TO TO STAY COMFORTABLE. Why is that so hard for everyone to understand?

    spectacle13 and inkeper Thank this.

Some people just can't stand the fact that some of us like it at Swift.
